Today was prefect. The sun was out and we had nothing planned. After sleeping in and having a lazy morning, we decided to venture out and soak up some of the glorious sun that was making an appearance in Seattle. We packed a picnic lunch, chilled some wine, hopped on our bikes and headed out to the Ballard Locks.
Afterwards we made our way back through Ballard, visiting some of the shops and stopping at Kickin' Boots Whiskey Kitchen. Los got a Kentucky Derby Mint Julep.
We're headed back out to a housewarming party tonight, Cinco de Mayo style. There might be some pictures of the evening's shenanigans later, but I can't make any promises.
